  26. just did this to my car amazing difference

  27. HEYYYYYY ITS THE BASS CAR!!!!

  28. little tip for you is if you need a washer and are too cheap to buy it,just drill a penny and use that. only costs you a penny.

  29. Cool, I had it right all along. 2/0 to the back and 1/0 for the big three. Its a Work in progress. I’m building the wires now to run the big 3, and working on ideas for the amp rack. Im not in a hurry

  30. @turboboy0 ahhaha shit gets me everytime lmao

  31. did you hook all this stuff up with the terminals still installed on the battery?

  32. hey man does it need to be necesarly a zero gage cable? also it must be that same terminal for the upgrade?-awesome video

  33. hey EXO,
    love your videos btw.

but to get down to business, ive been doing a bit of research and found the big 3 upgrade.
    and its costs.
my wallet is a bit busted up after upgrading my system.
so what i did, with my old 8 awg, was making 2 connects over the existing car connections.
i connected from the alternator to the positive battery, and the negative terminal to the car frame.
i know this isnt as effective as 0 awg connections, but would this increase my electrical flow?

  34. I hate how people look at me crazy when i hear bass in a distance

  35. @kf4ypd then that’s where the H/O alts and batts come into play

  36. Just so you know… Larger cable doesn’t increase the power flow, per se. The power flowing from the battery/alternator will still be the same. Larger cables will decrease your resistive losses (engineers call them copper losses) in the system, so you have closer to the nominal 13.8V received at the amp when the bass hits, instead of getting lower voltage form resistive drops in the power lines.

  39. TheTechGuider on November 28, 2011 @ 8:00 pm

Do you need a amp that can take more power? Or will this give more power to any amp? By any amp i mean a normal like 12 volt.

  40. hey bro great info and vids take care !

  41. fishkiller12672 on November 28, 2011 @ 8:57 pm

1:21 i live on the beach but never seen a rusty phillips like that, lol. Still works though.

  42. @PhoenixZong Lowes or Home Depot

  43. where is the best place to get 0gauge cable?

  44. Hahaha just finished the big 3. Ive got a yellow top optima. Grounded it to the engine block and straight to the frame( sorry exo but I dont like where your other ground is) Thanks for your help though

  46. hmm i really hope you disconnected the battery while attaching stuff to the positive terminal!!

  47. To those that understand the video I’m going to add my input that wasn’t mentioned in the video. Yes you need to upgrade your battery to a red top optima ($189.99 battery) and see about a 120 or 240 amp alternator (about $160 alternator) or you will kill your battery and possibly blow some fuses.

  48. Hey Exo! have you changed your ground yet? to something thats connected straight to the frame since this video? or nahh? Just wondering im sure you could find a better ground then that! – Mx! :)

  49. Tremendousthrob on November 29, 2011 @ 12:11 am

Can I do the big three with four gauge???

  50. @ exo Do I fuse the alt cable or run it straight I seen a lot of vid where some do and some don’t
